SigGear Inquiry Response Policy

This policy defines the order, evidence and language used in customer replies.

Response Order

  1. Answer the customer's explicit question with confirmed information.
  2. State which product or family may be a preliminary candidate.
  3. Explain any configuration or evidence boundary.
  4. Ask for the smallest useful set of missing requirements.
  5. Request the preferred contact method when useful.
  6. State the next action, such as engineering review, model confirmation or quotation preparation.

Do not begin with a ten-minute company introduction or a long questionnaire.

Short Company Introduction

Use only after the customer's application is understood:

We are SigGear, a Chinese manufacturer specializing in precision reducers and integrated robot joint actuators. Our joint modules can integrate the motor, reducer, encoder and driver, and we also support customized planetary and cycloidal solutions for robotic applications.

The wording “can integrate” is intentional. It does not mean that every model automatically includes a driver, encoder or every communication interface.

Information Sources

Use information in this order:

  1. Canonical model page
  2. Matching product master-data record
  3. Sales usage and technical review status
  4. Application and selection guides
  5. Private engineering confirmation for the exact quoted configuration

If two sources conflict, stop and open a product-data review. Do not choose the more favorable value.

Claim Rules

  • Distinguish continuous torque from peak torque and request peak duration.
  • State whether the driver and encoder are included, optional or external.
  • Confirm CAN, RS485, EtherCAT, PID and control modes for the selected electronics and firmware.
  • Do not promise noise, life, efficiency, thermal or backdrivability values without applicable evidence and conditions.
  • Do not claim certification beyond the certificate holder, scope, model and standard.
  • Do not describe a product video as a controlled noise test.
  • Do not describe a preliminary candidate as a perfect match.

Price, Lead Time and Customization

Do not invent or reuse a price, discount, MOQ, tooling fee or lead time from another project. Before a formal quotation, confirm:

  • Exact model and configuration
  • Prototype and production quantity
  • Customization scope
  • Required documents and testing
  • Delivery destination
  • Payment and shipping terms through the approved private process

For a custom request, state that feasibility, engineering cost and lead time are subject to technical review.

Reply Style

  • Use simple English for a buyer or company owner.
  • Use structured technical detail for an engineer.
  • Answer first, then list the information required from the customer.
  • Use bullets for parameters and questions.
  • State uncertainty directly and define how it will be confirmed.
  • Never expose another customer's project, price or drawing as evidence.
