  • Model number, such as SG-6010D, CPM-80-25 or SG-2878
  • Product family, such as cycloidal joint module or planetary gearbox
  • Application, such as humanoid knee, robot gripper or AGV wheel drive
  • Requirement, such as rated torque, radial load, CAN or backdrivability

Search results should lead to a canonical product page, application guide, selection guide or controlled FAQ answer. When two pages appear to conflict, do not select the more favorable value. Follow the conflict process in the documentation policy.

Source-of-Truth Boundaries

  • A canonical product page is the authoritative public page for one published model or series.
  • A controlled engineering drawing, released specification or approved test record remains the technical source behind the public page.
  • A quotation and technical agreement define the configuration supplied to a specific customer.
  • Product-family and application pages provide navigation and selection guidance; they do not override a model page.

Public Repository Boundary

This repository is public. It must not contain customer identities, customer drawings, private quotations, internal costs, supplier details, credentials, unreleased product data, NDA material or restricted test records. Store those materials only in an approved private system.
