CPM-80-25 Integrated Cycloidal Joint Module

Product Overview

CPM-80-25 is a compact robot joint module using an integrated cycloidal pinwheel transmission. The no-driver configuration uses an 80 mm maximum outer diameter and 29.7 mm axial thickness; the current integrated-driver reference configuration is 41.2 mm thick. The 25:1 transmission is intended for compact robot joints requiring moderate continuous torque and short-duration peak torque.

The product can be supplied with or without an integrated driver. Driver, encoder, communication and closed-loop control functions apply only to the configuration confirmed in the quotation.

Engineering Evaluation Fast Track

CPM-80-25 has released public resources for early mechanical and performance evaluation, including simplified STEP models, a mechanical-interface reference and measured performance data.

If the required torque, speed, diameter, thickness, motor, output interface or electronics does not match CPM-80-25 exactly, use the module as a cycloidal reference platform and start a custom transmission review.

Encoder, communication, closed-loop control, connector and cable details must be confirmed in the quotation and technical agreement.

Communication and Control

For a driver-equipped configuration, available communication and control functions are confirmed according to the selected driver and project requirements.

Possible project configurations may include:

  • CAN communication
  • RS485 communication
  • Position control
  • Velocity control
  • Torque control
