SigGear Sales Usage and Technical Review Status¶
This page defines how the current public product data may be used in customer communication. It helps sales staff, distributors and AI assistants avoid wrong parameters, unsupported compatibility claims and overpromising.
Current Review State¶
All current product records have a complete inventory of the claims on their canonical public pages. The records are suitable for public product summaries and preliminary selection within the boundaries below.
Controlled drawing numbers, test-report identifiers, internal approval records and reviewer identities are not stored in this public repository. Their absence here does not mean that no source exists. Final selection and quotation still require reconciliation with the current controlled source and ordered configuration.
Product Review Matrix¶
| Product | Permitted use | Must confirm before quotation or final selection |
|---|---|---|
| 16P | Preliminary selection and public summary | Exact ratio, stage count, adapted-motor power boundary, motor matching, duty cycle, output shaft, mounting, noise, service life and operating environment |
| 20P | Preliminary selection and public summary | Exact ratio, stage count, adapted-motor power boundary, motor matching, duty cycle, output shaft, mounting, noise, service life and operating environment |
| 22P | Preliminary selection and public summary | Exact ratio, stage count, adapted-motor power boundary, motor matching, duty cycle, output shaft, mounting, noise, service life and operating environment |
| 24P | Preliminary selection and public summary | Exact ratio, stage count, adapted-motor power boundary, motor matching, duty cycle, output shaft, mounting, noise, service life and operating environment |
| 8–42 mm planetary series | Product-family introduction and size shortlisting | Diameter, ratio, stage count, gearbox length, torque, speed, motor matching, shaft, backlash, noise, life, external loads and interfaces |
Prohibited Sales Shortcuts¶
Never:
- Treat peak torque as continuous torque.
- Present an optional driver, encoder, brake or communication interface as standard.
- Promise CAN, RS485, EtherCAT, PID or a control mode without confirming the selected electronics, firmware and protocol.
- Transfer torque, ratio, length, load, noise or life data from one planetary gearbox size or stage configuration to another.
- Use a public product page as a substitute for the quotation, approved drawing or technical agreement.
Required Internal Reconciliation¶
Before a final quotation or technical commitment, the responsible team should privately record:
- Controlled source identifier and revision
- Exact model, ratio and hardware configuration
- Technical reviewer and review date
- Confirmed values and test conditions
- Included and excluded components
- Optional interfaces and firmware scope
- Any customer-specific deviation
