Production Release Review

Use this review after a pilot build has been completed and reviewed by the responsible project / engineering / quality teams.

This page does not approve a pilot result, Production Release or mass production. It organizes the information needed before a human production-release review.

The drawing / BOM revisions, pilot evidence, deviations, forecast, inspection plan, change-control agreement and other project-specific production details stay in the browser until you copy the summary or open your email client. They are not sent to GA4.

Production Release Review Gates

A production-release review should be able to identify:

  1. Pilot build / result confirmation — completed and reviewed by the responsible team, not by the website.
  2. Pilot disposition — accepted, accepted with approved deviations, or returned for engineering revision.
  3. Configuration continuity — whether the production-review configuration is unchanged from the accepted pilot configuration.
  4. Final controlled configuration — final drawing revision and configuration / BOM revision.
  5. Pilot inspection / acceptance evidence — the evidence supporting the pilot disposition.
  6. Deviation / concession disposition — explicit approved reference or “none”.
  7. Packaging / labeling freeze — confirmed, standard, or explicitly not applicable.
  8. Forecast / annual volume — current demand context for manufacturing planning.
  9. Production inspection / test plan — what will be checked in recurring production.
  10. Change control — what production changes require notification / approval.
  11. Remaining release blockers — explicitly closed or identified for further action.

Manual Milestone Boundary

Human confirmation required: Production Released is a manually confirmed project / manufacturing milestone.

The website never automatically sets:

  • Pilot Build Accepted
  • Production Released
  • Mass Production Approved
  • Manufacturing Started

If the pilot configuration changes after acceptance, return the affected configuration to engineering review / revalidation before production release.
